About NTRO
What is the New Trier Republican Organization? More than just a little store front on Park Drive in Kenilworth, Illinois, more than the accumulation of voting records, or portraits of Republican presidents on the wall, the New Trier Republican Organization is the center of political activity for the township.
During the political campaign season, the year-round activities of the NTRO become visible. Precinct Captains who have been involved in the daily operation of the headquarters begin their leg work canvassing their precincts before the elections to acquaint New Trier voters with the qualifications of Republican candidates. These Captains and their helpers are the foot soldiers of the Republican army. Their efforts make the NTRO a grass roots organization -- the vital link for voter contact. The NTRO plays a major part in arranging meetings, coffees and rallies to bring together candidates and organization members.
NTRO believes that government should do what must be done in the interest of the nation, the state, or the local community as a whole; but that government should stress doing for the people, only what they cannot do for themselves. NTRO's common goal is to get out the vote for the election of candidates in whom trust can be placed; electing people for public office who share similar political convections. Together, the combined effort and energy of all the volunteers can and will make a big difference.
Your contribution of time and money will really count. The New Trier Republican Organization is for YOU. NTRO needs and welcomes your support. It will take everyone, working together, to do the job. Get involved, be part of the action!
